M/OTHERING_Gr is an open-access resource for researchers exploring caregiving, childhood, and family representations in the ancient Greek world. The dataset lists metadata for terracotta figurines depicting adults with subadults from mainland Greece and the Aegean islands, dating approximately from 700 BCE to 1 BCE, with a single later example extending to 50 CE. The material derives from a variety of archaeological contexts, including sanctuaries and funerary assemblages, and includes a range of caregiving figures such as women, nurses, attendants, and pedagogues. The dataset integrates iconographic, typological, archaeological, chronological, and geospatial metadata, providing a structured resource for comparative and large-scale analyses.
